Theatricum is back and currently accepting submissions for our 2024 season. See below for instructions on how to submit yourself for consideration.

Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum is deeply committed to inclusion of all artists and is actively seeking artists of diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds, gender identities, and ages to participate in our Repertory season. We, through our casting choices, seek to create opportunities for artists who are far too often under-represented on the American stage.

If you are interested in applying to our Professional Repertory Education and Performance Program (PREPP), please cc prepp@theatricum.com on your submission. Deadline to submit ahead of time for PREPP is 11:59pm on Sunday, March 10, 2024*

*We are currently not accepting unsolicited self tapes, please do not send a tape unless asked to do so by casting.

Please Prepare

Two Shakespeare monologues, not to exceed a total of four minutes, at least one of which should be Shakespeare or other heightened classical language.

In person audition dates

AEA Auditions: Friday, March 15th from 9am-5pm. Lunch 1-2pm.
- AEA EPA rules will be in effect, including a monitor. AEA members please sign up through the AEA audition portal one week before the auditions. All other comers are welcome to attend, with no guarantee that you will be seen.
Non-Union Auditions: Saturday, March 16th from 9am-4pm. Lunch 12:30-1pm.
- Actors will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be prepared to wait a considerable duration to be seen.
Non-Union and PREP Program Auditions: Sunday, March 17th from 10am-4pm. Lunch 12:30-1pm.
