Bequest
A bequest is a legacy in your will to a person or organization. It is made by designating a specific dollar amount, a particular asset, or a fixed percentage of your estate to the cause of your choice. Your bequest can be for general support or for a specific purpose. Generally, all that is required is a simple sentence or paragraph to be included in your estate plan.
