Explore text and story through various movement theories! Students will break down monologues and apply a different movement theory each week, while also exploring their own physical storytelling strengths. Theories covered consist of Chekhov, Laban, Stanislavski, and Lucid Body.

Alexandra Wright has a BA from the University of Southern California and an MFA from Harvard University. She currently teaches voice, movement, Shakespeare, audition technique, scene study, and acting professionally at UCLA, Loyola Marymount University, Azusa Pacific University, and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. As an actor, she has amassed over 100 theatre credits, more than 50 television, film, and commercial credits, and has performed all over the world–London, Paris, Moscow, Scotland, and Sweden.
