Theatricum has established an alums association for the purpose of staying connected to past and current company members, as well as Adult Academy students. Your connection to the canyon, the oaks, and the time you spent at Theatricum is lifelong. Membership to Will Geer’s Theatricum Botanicum Alums Association (WGTBAA) is free and open to all current and former Adult Academy students, Repertory performers, crew members, teachers, and employees. Association members will be given access to special discounts, member events, receive a quarterly newsletter, and become part of a network of professional colleagues dedicated to lifting each other up as they share the common thread of the Theatricum experience.
Our theater was founded as a family venture, and the many performers, employees, students, and crew members that have graced its stages over the decades have become a part of that family. Lifelong friendships, professional relationships, creative collaborations, and even marriages and families grew out of the seeds planted during many a repertory season. WGTBAA strives to celebrate this legacy and create ways for alums to feel connected to each other and to the company.

Theatricum isn’t a formal educational institution, why start an alums association?
An alums association shares the most common traits with what Theatricum hopes to achieve by establishing the association. Just like at a university, many people spend time at Theatricum before their careers or lives take them to other parts of the country. As professional careers in Los Angeles or elsewhere grow more successful, many no longer have the time to be part of the company. Theatricum wishes to maintain the special connection people have with the land, the company, and their time under the oaks.
Who is eligible to join?
All current and former company members, crew, adult academy students, and employees.
Is there a membership fee?
Not at all. Joining the association is just a way to stay connected. Alum donors will be given special recognition, but there is no requirement to give.
