The Bird and the Bee is a musical duo from Los Angeles, consisting of Inara George (singer-songwriter and Topanga native) and Greg Kurstin (a nine-time Grammy Award–winning producer and multi-instrumentalist). Since forming in 2005, THE BIRD AND THE BEE have brought a breezy elegance to their music, putting their own idiosyncratic twist on time-bending indie-pop. Their debut self-titled debut album was released on January 23, 2007 on Bluenote Records to critical and commercial success. Since then they have continued to explore different styles and push musical boundaries. They will be taking the stage at the Theatricum Botanicum on October 15th to benefit the theater.
