DESCRIPTION
The Patron Services Intern will learn from seasoned professionals and acquire real-life work experience in patron services at a nonprofit theatre. The Patron Services Intern will attend every performance, managing the audience experience before, during, and after each show. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and participate in box office, concessions, and front-of-house administration in the busy, magical environment of Theatricum during our repertory season. The Patron Services Internship is a 30 hours a week position running from June – October 2024. The weekly schedule will include hours during days, evenings, weekdays, and weekends.
This is a paid internship through the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture Arts Internship Program. The rate is $17.28/hr.
QUALIFICATIONS
We’re seeking students with a passionate interest in theater administration and the arts. The ideal candidate is a reliable, responsible self-starter who brings professional conduct to the work environment. This position requires customer service and basic computer skills. Please be someone who can focus in an energetic, communal, fast- paced work environment, and who is comfortable working in “the great outdoors” of the Santa Monica Mountains. We ask that the candidate have a vehicle, driver’s license, and up to date insurance. Free parking is provided.
