Tim Simek
Tim is a working actor with 30+ years of Film, TV, Immersive,
Improv and Stage experience. Tim is founder, director &
producer (and performer) of the award-winning comedy improv
troupe, Slow…Children at Play (S…CAP). S…CAP, established in
1998, is now in their 27th season, performing regularly at the
Whitmore-Lindley Theatre Center in North Hollywood. S…CAP
won the Valley Theatre Award for Best Improv Show in 2016
& 2017 along with the 2018 Best Comedy Club award via the
Los Angeles City Voter Hot List. Tim is a member of SAG-
AFTRA and has facilitated improv along with various acting-
related classes for 30+ years. He conducts a 12-week
advanced improv intensive in North Hollywood through his
improv troupe and is an improv instructor at L.A. Pierce
College through the Extension Program.
