JOB OVERVIEW:
Theatricum is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time Web Administrator to maintain and enhance our website, ensuring a seamless user experience and up-to-date content. This role requires technical expertise in WordPress, Elementor, and website integrations, as well as the flexibility to respond to website updates and issues as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Regularly update homepage and website content, including production schedules, ticketing links, news, and educational programs.
Ensure website functionality, security, and mobile responsiveness across all devices.
Implement SEO best practices to optimize site visibility.
Manage website integrations, including social media feeds, ticketing systems, and donation platforms.
Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance website layout, user experience, and branding consistency.
Monitor website performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize page speed.
Coordinate with external developers or hosting providers as needed.
Maintain regular backups, security updates, and SSL management.
Optimize responsive images to ensure proper cropping and display across different screen sizes.
Ensure event-driven features like ticketing systems, calendars, and media integrations function properly.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Experience managing WordPress websites, including Elementor and other page builders/plugins.
Familiarity with child themes and ability to customize WordPress themes as needed.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
Experience with image optimization and responsive design.
Knowledge of Google Analytics, SEO tools, and website accessibility best practices.
Experience integrating social media platforms and event-driven features into websites.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to be responsive to urgent updates.
Ability to coordinate with hosting providers and troubleshoot performance issues.
Flexible availability—some weeks may require more hours than others depending on production schedules and marketing needs.
